PURPOSE: To easily obtain a high-performance silicate-based builder by using a glass melt easy to handle as a feedstock. CONSTITUTION: This crystalline inorganic builder having a composition expressed by formula, xM2 O.ySiO2 .zMeO (y/x=0.5-2.0; z/y=0.001-1.0; M is Na or K, K/Na=0.01-1.2; Me is Ca and/or Mg) or formula, xM2 O.ySiO2 (y/x=0.5-2.0; M is Na or K, K/Na=0.01-1.2) is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of a glass melt having the composition with 1-85 (or 75) pts.wt. of water followed by baking. |
