MANUFACTURE OF FRP CYLINDER

PURPOSE: To manufacture an FRP cylinder having a small number of voids and the high fiber volume content. CONSTITUTION: When an FRP cylinder 21 is formed by widening a reinforcing fiber bundle 12 composed of a mandrel 19 impregnated with a resin into a lamellar shape, a helically winding layer 21a is formed inside, and a peripheral direction winding layer 21b is formed outside the helically winding layer. The winding tensile strength of the resin impregnated reinforcing fiber bundle 12 forming the peripheral direction winding layer 27b to the mandrel 19 is set larger than that of the resin impregnated reinforcing fiber bundle 12 forming the helically winding layer 21a in the manufacturing method of the FRP cylinder.
