PURPOSE: To efficiently and economically prevent the blocking of the passages of a catalyst block without using soot blow equipment having a problem from a aspect of economical efficiency in a catalytic denitration apparatus used in the denitration of exhaust gas containing a large amt. of solid matter such as combustion dust. CONSTITUTION: An accumulated dust suction nozzle 3 is disposed so as to be freely movable along the upper surface of a catalyst block 2 and a suction gas circulating passage 4 returning the dust-containing gas sucked by the suction nozzle 3 to the front flow of the catalyst block 2 is formed and a dust collector 5 is installed on the way of the suction gas circulating passage 4.
