PURPOSE: To provide an image sorting device which can sort such parts that are hard to be extracted out of the input images only through the binarization or the three-dimensional display and then can give the instructions that are visually and easily understood. CONSTITUTION: An image sorting device is provided with an image input device 1 which fetches the image data, a filing device 2 which stores the input image data and then reads out, retrieves and edits the image data through every prescribed operation, and a normalization part 3 which corrects the variance caused by various conditions of an image input mode or the device 1 and secures the coincidence of input conditions between the execution and learning modes. Furthermore, a feature extraction part 4 is added to extract the feature value that is effective to the sorting of images, together with a sorting decision part 5 which decides the sorting based on the feature value extracted by the part 4, a display part 6 which synthesizes the sorting decision result and displays it on the input image, and a learning control part 7 which controls both parts 4 and 5 based on the prescribed learning data. |
