PURPOSE: To perform good cutting without being affected by the heat generated in the bearing part of a grooved roller shaft support device by supplying a cooling medium into the passage in a rotary shaft from the inlet passage thereof and discharging the same from ah outlet passage through the passage in the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION: Cooling water is supplied to the supply port 84A of a joint 84 from a cooling water supply device and passed through a cooling water supply pipe 80 to flow out to the gap 74 between a connection bolt 66 and a rotary shaft 62 from the lateral holes 78A, 78A... formed to a connection bolt 66 through the hole 78 thereof. The cooling water flowing through the gap 74 flows while absorbs the heat transmitted to the rotary shaft to return to an outlet 81 from lateral holes 78B, 78B.... The cooling water returned to the outlet 81 passes through the joint 84 to be again returned to the cooling water supply device from a discharge port 84B. |
