<p>PURPOSE: To freely set a reception place where a receiver receives the preserved report of FAX data and to make a transmitter able to receive a transmission result at a specified place. CONSTITUTION: An individual data storage device 5 for storing a receiver individual ID code and a calling number corresponding to a registered receiver 6 for the respective receivers is provided. At the time of receiving the FAX data and the receiver individual ID code from a transmission origin FAX equipment 1, a FAX server 3 calls the registered receiver 6 by the call number extracted from the individual data storage device 5 based on the individual ID code. Also, the FAX server 3 receives the FAX data and the number of a transmission result FAX equipment 2 for FAX-receiving the transmission result inputted by the transmitter from the sender FAX equipment 1, tentatively preserves them and then, when the FAX data are transmitted to a receiving FAX equipment 7 and confirmed, transmits the transmission result to the transmission result FAX equipment 2 based on the tentatively preserved number.</p> |
