<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for correcting the white shading of a signal image picked-up by a video camera. SOLUTION: This device for correcting the white shading of a video signal image picked-up by a camera is provided with a memory means 12 for storing plural correction signals for individual video signals constituting a video frame, correction factor memory means 70 for storing a correction factor for each image pickup condition validated by a zoom lens position and diaphragm aperture, controlling means 20 for controlling the memory means 12 and the correction factor memory means 70 so that the correction factor corresponding to the present image pickup condition and the correction signal corresponding to the individual video signal to be image picked-up can be outputted, and correcting part 30 for receiving the plural correction signals from the memory means 12 and the correction factor from the correction factor memory 70, and correcting the white shading of a video signal to be image picked-up by using the received data, and outputting it. Thus, it is possible to efficiently correct generated various white shading according to zoom lens position and aperture scale with a small memory capacity.</p> |
