PURPOSE: To provide a suture device which is usable for operation under an endoscope and is capable of decreasing the range to be excised. CONSTITUTION: This suture device has a cartridge 9 which has plural curved staple 7 arrays, an anvil B which has a surface to hold the tissues between the cartridge 9 and the anvil, a staple extruding plate 15 which shoots the staples 7 toward the anvil 8 and a staple shooting lever which moves the anvil 8 toward the cartridge 9 and drives the staple extruding plate 15 along the staple 7 arrays. The staple extruding plate 15 and the staple shooting lever are connected by a wire 20. One end of the wire 20 is fixed to the staple shooting lever and the middle part thereof passes near the front end of the cartridge 9 and is freely slidingly connected to the staple extruding plate 15 and, thereafter, the other end is connected to the cartridge 9. |
