PURPOSE: To provide a keyboard musical instrument capable of freely joining performance even in the time when an automatic performance is being reproduced. CONSTITUTION: The automatic performance is played by supplying MIDI data to a sound source from an electronic sound source by providing a keyboard cancellation mode in the automatic performance. In this way, no key is driven though it is the automatic performance, which lets a player to freely join the performance, and the player enjoys an ensemble with the automatic performance.
