PURPOSE: To reduce vibration of piping for supplying or discharging a fluid to reduce radiation sound changing to noise from the piping wall in a piping structure having a vibration control layer on the outer periphery of the piping for supplying or discharging the fluid such as water, hot water, air by sticking a vibration absorbing sheet material for absorbing vibration on the outer periphery of the piping, and making the layer of the vibration absorbing sheet material the vibration control layer. CONSTITUTION: In the piping structure, a sheetlike material which has the Young's modulus of 1.0×10<6> Pa or more and the loss factor of 0.2 or more is used as a vibration absorbing sheet material 10, and the sheetlike material 10 is stuck on the outside periphery of a piping 5 for supplying or discharging a fluid such as water, hot water, air. Then, a layer of the vibration absorbing sheet material 10 is made a vibration control layer 13. Vibrational energy of the piping 5 is absorbed by the vibration absorbing sheet material 10 constructed in such manner for absorbing vibration so as to reduce the vibration of the piping 5, and thus radiation sound changing to noise from the piping wall is restricted.
