PURPOSE: To obtain the pager with a small size, thin profile at low cost without having adverse effect due to electromagnetic noise in which no motor is required in the production of vibration and the service life of power battery is extended at low power consumption. CONSTITUTION: The paper is provided with a changeover means 4 operated by a signal from a high frequency reception means 5 receiving an individual call signal, a plunger 6 operated by the changeover means 4, and a vibration generating section 9 starting the operation by the operation of the plunger 6, and the vibration generating section 9 has a vibration source through rotation and a drive source connecting to it, and the drive source has a power spring and its winding section. The plunger has a plunger moving section 8, a solenoid 7 and a stopper, and the plunger movable section 8 is energized to stop the operation of the vibration generating section 9 and the changeover means 4 operates the solenoid 7 to move the plunger movable section 8 against the energizing force and the stopper locks the plunger movable section 8 moved against the energizing force and the locking may be released by manual operation. |
