PURPOSE: To provide an enlarging display method capable of performing the partially magnified display of a screen being simple and easy to understand. CONSTITUTION: A picture frame type position input device 3 provided with a sensor 3A for detecting a three-dimensional position and direction with respect to a display device 2 and a memory 3B in which shape and display magnifying power of the position input device 3 are stored, are previously provided. Then, the positional information of the position input device 3 with respect to the display device 2 are read out by the sensor 3A and whether the positional range of the position input device 3 with respect to the display device 2 are within a prescribed range or not is judged by the positional information. When it is judged to be within the range, the area corresponding to the position and the shape of the position input device 3 among display information displayed on the display device 2 is enlarged and displayed on the display device 2 based on the information from the sensor 3A and the memory 3B of the position input device 3. |
