PURPOSE: To provide a consecutive character synthesizer by which a natural connection of continuous character pattern is obtained and a running character pattern (consecutive character pattern) with high quality is generated. CONSTITUTION: An individual character pattern generating part 2 generates a character pattern at every character code from an inputted character code string. A consecutive stroke regulation parameter generating part 3 generates a consecutive stroke regulation parameter based on the transient state of the character code, and also, a consecutive character pattern generating part 5 converts each character pattern into the consecutive character pattern by using the consecutive stroke regulation parameter. Finally, the consecutive character pattern in which each character pattern like a sentence in cursive style is continued is generated. |
