<p>PURPOSE: To practice initial motion of an indexer without using a home position sensor by moving a movable orientating means to a critical position, counting a clock signal by the specified pulse number after a limiting sensor is actuated and stopping a drive motor at the time of finishing counting. CONSTITUTION: When an electric power source is switched on, a timing belt is rotated by a drive motor, and an indexer 24 is moved to a home position. At this time, the output pulse number of an encoder clock sensor to detect rotation of the drive motor is counted in accordance with rise of the indexer 24 after on motion of a home position sensor. In this case, an upper limit sensor 172 is furnished to cope with runaway of a control part, and as a stopping position of the indexer 24 is not known at the time when the electric power source is on, control motion to move the indexer 24 to an upper limit position specified by the upper limit sensor 172 and thereafter to precisely specify a present position of the indexer 24 is practiced.</p> |
