PURPOSE: To provide a sound reproduction device with which the lack of an output in the woofer range of a speaker is apparently compensated by reinforcing the output level of the woofer range within the reproducible frequency of the speaker. CONSTITUTION: This device is composed of a high-pass filter 1 for extracting all frequency signals higher than the woofer side reproducible frequency of a speaker 9, a low-pass filter 2 for extracting super low frequency signals lower than the woofer side reproducible frequency of the speaker 9, a frequency shift means 3-5 for shifting the frequency of super low frequency signals to the bottom side frequency signal of all the frequency signals, and adding means 6 for superimposing the bottom side frequency signal outputted from the frequency shift means 3-5 and all the frequency signals. The frequency shift means 3-5 are provided with first sampling means 3 and 4 for extracting a return noise signal at the frequency higher than the bottom side frequency signal by sampling the super low frequency signal and second sampling means 5 for sampling the return noise signal and shifting its frequency to that of the bottom side frequency signal. |
