PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture conference control system in which a comprehensive information communication network can be used, and in-system data exchange and control can be easily attained, and to provide an inexpensive system which can be easily connected with another kind of picture conference terminal. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a main control means 6h having the channel information of a main speaker or the information of a specific channel inputted by a chairman terminal for controlling a whole operation in the lump, and H.221 multiplexing means 6c 6d, 6g, 6i, and 6j for H.221 frame- synchronizing data inputted through an MVIP bus for synchronously transferring a control signal between each means, synchronizing a detected phase with a prescribed timing, and separating it into audio/video signals. Also, the system is provided with a picture processing means 6f for outputting the separated video signal to a terminal based on sound level, or picture split screen-processing it, and a speech processing mans 6e for comparing the separated audio signal, selecting the prescribed number of terminals being the loudest in speech, synthesizing the speech data, or processing conference data for each group. |
