PURPOSE: To prevent the blocking of an opening with edge dust or dust by opening the outer end opened at the containing chamber exterior of an atmospheric communication port lower than the inner end opened with the chamber interior in the mounted state at an ink tank. CONSTITUTION: An atmospheric communication port 6 is provided at the one side A of a case body 2 for forming an ink tank 1 having an ink supply port 5. The port 6 is provided above the body 2, and formed of an inner opening end 6a opened with the inner surface side of the body 2, an outer opening end 6b opened with the outer surface side, a communicating passage 6c for connecting the opening ends, and a cover 6d for forming a passage by partly covering the passage 6c. The end 6b is disposed lower than the end 6a in the opening 6. As a result, dust or edge dust is scarcely introduced from the end 6b. |
