<p>PURPOSE: To enable to separate and remove a filter residue and repeatingly use and grow microorganism by making a filter medium made of entangled many plastic wires bent into corrugated-shape and set to a prescribed length only to incorporate in a purifying tank. CONSTITUTION: The filter medium is made by entangling many plastics, e.g. nylon, wires 1 bent into corrugated-shape. The length of the wire is controlled to l-10cm and the distance between peak parts (1 pitch) of the corrugation is controlled to about 1.25mm. The filter medium 2 is formed by entangling the wires 1 by utilizing the corrugation and fixing by impressing a prescribed pressure. In such a case, by increasing the gap of the entanglement, the flow of water is improved to be suitable for the growth of bacteria though the filtering function to the filter residue is lowered. Then, the wires 1 are controlled in the fixing degree corresponding to water quality, housed in the purifying tank and used with a prescribed pressure impresses.</p> |
