PURPOSE: To provide a hot air heater capable of performing a sure post-purging responding to an operation stopped state of a heat source part such as a burner or the like. CONSTITUTION: This hot air heater conducts a temperature adjusting control in such a way that a detected room temperature of a room temperature sensor 24 may agree with a target room temperature. A control part 36 for a convection fan 4 for convecting indoor air causes a post-purge caused by the convection fan 4 to become a first post purge when combustion at a burner is terminated under a temperature adjusting control, another post purge caused by the convection fan 4 to become a second post purge when the combustion at the burner is terminated and for controlling the convection fan 4 in such a way that a time of the first post purge may become longer than a time of the second post purge. |
