PURPOSE: To obtain a reversible thermal recording material which scarcely curls toward a thermal layer and has only a little flaw in an opposite face of the thermal layer, by providing a thermal layer for recording and deleting information reversibly with heat on a support body and providing a curl preventing layer on an opposite side of the face of the thermal layer. CONSTITUTION: A reversible thermal recording material which can repeat recording and deleting of information many times with change of temperature is formed by layering a light reflective layer, a thermal layer, and a protective layer in sequence on a surface of a support body, and layering a magnetic layer and a curl preventing layer in sequence on the rear face of the support body. The protective layer and the curl preventing layer are formed of an electron beam or ultraviolet setting resin of the same composition. Preferably, the thickness of the curl preventing layer on the rear face of the support body is set to be thicker than that of the protective layer at the thermal layer. The thickness is set to a range of 2-20μm. A filler is added to the curl preventing layer. The abrasion resistance of the curl preventing layer is set to 10g or above and the friction coefficient is set to 0.1 or below. |
