PHOTOSENSITIVE PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To provide a photosensitive planographic printing plate having a wide range for proper developing conditions, no deterioration in the film strength, enough printing durability and high sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: This photosensitive planographic printing plate has at least one photosensitive layer containing an o-quinone diazide compd. and an alkali- soluble resin on a supporting body. In the photosensitive layer, the max. concn. of the o-quinone diazide compd. is at the position with a distance more than 1/2 of the film thickness from the supporting body side. The photosensitive planographic printing plate is produced by dissolving a photosensitive compsn. containing an o-quinone diazide compd. and an alkali-soluble resin in a mixture solvent of a good solvent having a low boiling temp. and a bad solvent having a high boiling temp. for the o-quinone diazide compd. to prepare a coating liquid, then applying the coating liquid and drying under at least two different temp. conditions.
