<p>PURPOSE: To improve a conveying characteristic by journalling either one of first and second units rotatably to the other, providing one unit with a sheet carrier roller while providing the other unit with a plurality of rollers for press ing a sheet to the carrier roller, and energizing each roller independently to the carrier roller by a spring. CONSTITUTION: In relation to the body of an attachment 20 serving as a first unit, a carrier guide 39 serving as a second unit is turnable (in the directions of arrow marks B, C) around a guide shaft 44 and positioned and fixed by the resiliency of springs 42 in a position where rollers 41 are brought into contact with a roller 38 so as to be in the state of forming a nip. Accordingly, even if the position of the carrier guide 39 is unstable due to play or the like around the guide shaft 44, each pressure roller 41 is independently energized by the exclusive spring 42, so that the dispersion of pressure contact force of each pressure roller 41 is suppressed to a minimum to prevent skew feed and a jam.</p> |
