<p>PURPOSE: To simply and safely treat org. solvent gas by making low concn. org. solvent gas adsorbed on an adsorbent and the adsorbed gas desorbed as high concn. gas by a small quantity of heated regeneration air and subjecting the desorbed gas to oxidative decomposition by a catalytic combustion device and adjusting the temp. of the regeneration air corresponding to the outlet temp. of the catalytic combustion device. CONSTITUTION: Low concn. org. solvent gas is passed through the adsorbing part 2a of an adsorbent 2 by a fan 1 to adsorption remove an org. solvent. Next, the regeneration air heated by a heater 3 is sent of the adsorbing part 2a to make the org. solvent desorbed to obtain concn. gas. This conc. gas is introduced into a catalytic combustion device 5 to be heated by a heater 5a and introduced into a catalyst 5b and the org. solvent in the gas is subjected to oxidative decomposition treatment by the catalyst 5b. At this time, the temp. of the regeneration air is sensed by the temp. sensing part 6 arranged to the outlet of the catalyst 5b and the outlet temp. of the regeneration air heater 3 is adjusted by a temp. regulator 7. Even if the concn. of the conc. gas exceeds concn. capable of being treated by the catalytic combustion device, the conc. gas is safely and simply treated.</p> |
