PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing combined crimped yarn to provide fabric capable of manifesting a spun yarnlike touch feeling having a full visual feeling and a natural glossiness when woven or knitted. CONSTITUTION: Each of two or more highly oriented undrawn polyester yarns A, B... having 0.02-0.08 birefringent ratioΔn and <=15% crystallinity is used, initially hot drawn under different conditions, then fed to heated fluid stuffing type crimping texturing devices 9, 10 and 11 at >=10% overfeeding ratio of the yarns and a difference in overfeeding ratios among the yarns within the range of 0-50%. The fluid interlacing treatment of the yarns are carried out subsequently to the heated fluid stuffing type crimping texturing.
