PURPOSE: To detect the displacement of a rotor without providing a displacement sensor. CONSTITUTION: A controller 82 estimates the displacement of a rotor 50 by performing operation from the currents Iu2, Iv2, and Iw2 of position control winding C2, a primary current frequency command value 2ω, and the output current (or voltage) of an inverter 56. And, based on the displacement of the rotor 50 estimated with this controller 82, a modulator 84, a three-phase - two- phase converter 86, and a voltage control inverter 88 control the current of the position control winding C2. Hereby, the magnetic field made by the motor winding C4 becomes unbalanced, and magnetic force works in radial direction on the rotor 50, and the position control is performed. |
