PURPOSE: To allow a user to handle easily and add easily an optional function and embody in a compact and simple configuration by furnishing a plurality of key units, and changing over the key function from changeover switches. CONSTITUTION: The first surface key unit 20 is composed of a key top 15, changeover lid 21. etc., while the second surface key unit is composed of key tops 22a, 22b, etc., and changeover switches 52, 53, etc., to change over the key function between the key tops 22a, 22b, etc., and the key top 15, etc. The key top 15 functions as a short key for facsimile when the unit 20 is closed, i.e., in case that the switch 52 is depressed by an arm 20c to be put in On condition and that the lid 21 is in the back position inside-i.e., the changeover switch 53 is set off from an arm 21a to be put in Off condition. The key top 22a, etc., are turned into compilation keys when the unit 20 is opened, i.e., the switch 52 is set off from an arm 21c to be put in Off condition, so that multi-functional operations are ensured using a small number of keys. |
