PURPOSE: To simulate golf more similarly to actuality by calculating the trajectory locus and flight distance with the effect of wind when a golf ball flies higher than the prescribed height according to a shot. CONSTITUTION: When a game machine is started and the shot direction, shot power, and the impact position of a golf ball are inputted via an action device, shot conditions are determined by the shot determination section 11 of a CPU 1, and the height of the ball is judged from the shot power by a golf ball height judgment section 12. When the height of the golf ball is higher than a prescribed value, an orbit locus/ flight distance calculation section 13 calculates the trajectory locus and flight distance with the effect of wind according to the height. When the height of the golf ball is lower than the prescribed value, the calculation section 13 makes the calculation with no effect of wind added. When the effect of wind is considered according to the height of the golf ball flying above a golf course, a golf game more similar to actuality is realized. |
