PURPOSE: To provide a prism fixing device in which a parallelopiped prism can be easily detached from a photographic optical system unit member. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the prism fixing device provided with a parallelopiped prism 1 for splitting light for an object made incident from a photographic optical system 5a in two different directions, two CCD 3 arranged on a prescribed face of this parallelopiped prism 1, and photographic optical system unit member 5 provided with the photographic optical system 5a, an optical filter 2 having thickness (t) is arranged on the incident plane of light for object of the parallelopiped prism 1, the area corresponding to the outside of valid image pickup areas of respective surrounding CCD 3 is defined as an adhering plane 1a, and the parallelopiped prism 1 is attachably and detachably fixed to the photographic optical system unit member 5 by an auxiliary member 4 for prism fixture as a rectangular frame member having a transmission part 4a of light for object adhered onto this adhering plane 1a. |
