PURPOSE: To eliminate the 'loosening' of a stamper having fine rugged patterns on its surface in spite of a high temp. of a stamper roll and to obtain the roll having good durability without impairment of pattern sizes by providing a part of the stamper with an adjusting member having the Young's modulus different from the Young's modulus of the stamper member. CONSTITUTION: This stamper 1 has fine rugged preformat patterns 7 on its surface in order to transfer these patterns to the substrate sheet of an optical card and is welded with the adjusting member 82 in part thereof. Fixtures 3a, 3b are fixed to both ends of the stamper and are fitted and inserted into detaining grooves 4a, 4b of the peripheral surface of the roll base material 2, by which these fixtures are tightly fixed onto the roll. The adjusting member 82 is phosphorus bronze (Young's modulus: 11×10<3> kgf/m<2> ) having the Young's modulus smaller than the Young's modulus of the stamper consisting of Ni (Young's modulus: 19.5×10<3> kgf/m<2> ) and, therefore, the stamper is fixed to the roll without the loosening even if the temp. of the stamper roll 5 rises high.
