PURPOSE: To provide an inexpensive image forming device simple in mechanism, small in size and capable of forming a high-quality image on a transferring paper whose one side has been used. CONSTITUTION: In this image forming device, the transferring paper housed in a paper feeding tray is fed to an image forming part so as to form the image on the one side or both sides of the transferring paper. The device is constituted of a one-side- used-paper feeding tray 2 housing transferring paper whose both sides have not been used or transferring paper whose one side has been used, and a paper feeding and carrying means 4 feeding and carrying the transferring paper placed on the tray 2 whose both sides have not been used and the transferring paper placed on the tray 2 whose one side has been used to the image forming part. It is provided with a both- side mode selecting means 5 selecting a mode for forming the image on both sides of the transferring paper whose both sides have not been used, and a switching means 6 performing switching so as to prevent the both sides mode selecting means from selecting the mode for forming the image on both sides in the paper feeding and carrying condition feeding and carrying the transferring paper whose one side has been used to the image forming part by the means 4 or so as to warn to stop the mode for forming the image on both sides. |
