METHOD FOR CLEANING A WATER PIPE USING O3 WATER

For cleaning the piping in the water distribution system including an underground storage tank and an elevated distribution water tank, the method employs an ozone generator to inject ozone into the water piping via an injector. Ozone for 10ppm concentration is injected for 30-40 minutes into the distribution system with faucets opening from the first floor upward to wait for about 10 minutes until a reddish dark colored sludge water is discharged. After waiting still more for another 30 minutes to confirm a white colored water discharge, weak ozone for 1ppm concentration is injected for 2-3 minutes to finish the clearing.
