PURPOSE: To provide a focal position correcting device for a camera provided with a zoom lens and capable of satisfactorily correcting the deviation of the focal position caused by a manufacturing error with a small storage capacity. CONSTITUTION: This focal position correcting device for a camera provided with a zoom lens is provided with an adjusting amount calculating means for calculating the adjusting amountδh of at least one lens group Gh for the zoom lens with an operation expression based on the focal distance information for prescribing the variation corresponding to the focal distance of all the lens systems and a correction coefficient previously stored in order to adjust a back- focus, and a driving means for moving the lens group Gh along an optical axis by the adjusting amountδh in each focal distance state so that the deviation of the focal position with respect to the film plane obtaining the best image plane caused by the manufacturing error may be corrected all over the variable power range. |
