PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transmitting data compressed by using an MPEG to an MPEG restoring section without requiring any ISA bus nor main storage section. SOLUTION: This device for transmitting data is provided with an input-output section 400 which generates a first control signal upon receiving and storing data and a hold enable signal upon inputting a hold requesting signal and separating a bus and output data in accordance with an address control signal, a compressing and restoring section 404 which generates a data requesting signal, receives an input from the section 400 upon inputting a data enable signal, and compresses and restores moving images, a data connecting section 402 which generates the hold requesting signal in accordance with a second control signal and the data requesting signal, generates the address control signal which makes that data to be transmitted directly to the compressing and restoring section 404 in accordance with the hold enable signal and generates a transmitting state signal informing the completion of data transmission, and is cleared by means of a third control signal, and a central processing section 406 which generates the second control signal upon receiving the first control signal and the third control signal upon inputting a transmitting state signal. |
