摘要 |
<p>PURPOSE: To reduce transfer of undesired information by providing a means adding an error correction cell, a means adding a sequential number, a means estimating whether a cell is an original information cell or the error correction cell and a means decoding a defective cell. CONSTITUTION: When only information by L cells is generated within a prescribed time, an error correction cell is generated and its transmission is started. The error correction coding to generate the error correction cell is conducted such that a dummy cell by (K-L) cells is added to original information by L cells, information of (n+M-1)th order is extracted from an n-th main information area from each of K sets of original information cells and an information string 14 whose length is (K×M) is generated. Then the information string 14 is given to an error correction coder 15 to generate a redundant information string 16 whose length is (N-K)×M to e added to the original string 14 is generated. The string 16 is the information from the n-th to the (n+M-1)th in a main information area of (N-K) sets of error correction cells to be sent. The processing above is conducted to all (n) in a memory 17 to generate an error correction cell 18.</p> |
