PURPOSE: To provide a silver halide color photosensitive material for color proof manufacture capable of obtaining a stable image and provide a color proof manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: In a silver halide color photosensitive material for color proof manufacture which conducts exposure based on dot image information comprising color separated yellow, magenta, cyan, and black image information, at least part of dot image information is converted so that when dot area ratio is 40%, the number of dots per in 1inch<2> is 200×10<3> or more, and the sensitive material contains each layer of a yellow image forming emulsion (called Y emulsion), a magenta image forming emulsion (called M emulsion), a cyan image forming emulsion (called C emulsion), and in addition contains a black image forming emulsion (called S emulsion), and even in the spectral sensitivity region of either emulsion of the Y emulsion, M emulsion, C emulsion, and S emulsion, each emulsion has the spectral sensitivity region at least 6 times higher than other 3 emulsions.
