Lens by means of CD is varied within a standard, round spectacle frame which is provided with adjusting screws and within which the round lense can be rotated and fixed in position, thus allowing the CD (distance between the two optical centres of the lenses) to be varied as required in accordance with a formula or by means of a template, i.e. allowing it to be tailored to the individual BPD (distance between the two pupils, determined by a standard BPD measurement), in order to effect an optimization of sight and comfort for each individual, starting from a marker which in its initial position corresponds to the average BPD and making use only of a screwdriver, without using a grinding machine.
