PURPOSE: To prevent paper skew and to make a device small in size and low in cost by forming the support shaft of a maintenance cover by the use of the roller shaft of a paper feed roller and providing the cover with a paper feeding guide. CONSTITUTION: The top of a main body 1 of this image forming device is widely opened for attaching/detaching an image formation process unit and treating paper jam. An opening 1A is provided with the maintenance cover 11 capable of being opened and closed. The support shaft of the maintenance cover 11 is formed by using the roller shaft 5 of the paper feed roller 4, thus the device can be miniaturized. Additionally, by providing a transfer device 25 on the side of the cover 11, paper skew is prevented. Further, by providing the paper carry guide on the side of the cover 11, the paper skew is surely prevented. |
