PURPOSE: To provide a document feeder for an image forming device capable of preventing erroneous copying and using a carrier sheet without setting the selection of the carrier sheet by user. CONSTITUTION: In the document feeder of the image forming device, capable of feeding both of a document of cut paper and a carrier sheet CS1 holding the document, the carrier sheet CS1 is provided with a distinguishing means (projecting part 1) for distinguishing the carrier sheet CS1, and the document feeder is provided with a carrier-sheet detection means (carrier-sheet detection sensor 4) for detecting the distinguishing means of the carrier sheet CS1. |
