PURPOSE: To ensure a wide exhaust smoke arresting space and allow even a short or aged person to easily handle an operating part by installing the operating part at the lower edge of the front face of a front panel by a mount ing device provided at a part of the rear face of the front panel. CONSTITUTION: A front panel 2 of a range hood inclines toward the floor of a room in front and an operating part 3 facing forward or slightly downward is arranged at a position which is at the lowest part of line front panel 2 and can been seen from front of a cooking table. A switch box 23 is supported on a mount 13 having a narrow width so that an exhaust smoke arresting space is not reduced and a fixing part (a), by which the mount 13 to support the switch box 23 is attached on the front panel 2, is not exposed to the inside of the room. |
