PURPOSE: To obtain a two-frequency sharing printed antenna capable of reducing a loss with simple constitution by forming an intermediate part with narrow width on a monopole element formed on a base to form a resonance circuit and equivalently opening a part of the monopole element to a certain frequency band to resonate the part with the frequency. CONSTITUTION: A monopole element 10 with length L3 separated into two antenna elements 10a, 10b with length L1, L2 through an intermediate part 11 with narrow width is printed on a dielectric base 1a. A conductor pattern 10c is printed on a position corresponding to the element 10 on the back of the base 1a to form capacitance and a resonance circuit is equivalently formed by the capacitance and inductance included in the intermediate part 11. The length L3 of the element 10 is set up to λ1/4 resonating with frequency f1 with wavelength λ1, the equivalent resonance circuit is set up so as to response with frequency f2 with wavelength λ2 and L2 is set up to λ2/4 Consequently the antenna can resonate with the frequency f1, f2 and high gain can be obtained by adjusting the direction of the antenna so as to allow polarization planes to agree with each other. |
