<p>PURPOSE: To obtain natural and easy-to-hear pronunciation by providing a voiceless sound inserting means which inserts voiceless sound data of a specific time for every 4 digits from the head of plural successive numbers. CONSTITUTION: When a host computer 2 outputs plural numbers consisting of identification codes successively, the numbers are inputted successively to a Japanese processing layer 4 from an I/F 6. Then a pointer is set at the head of the successive numbers and the number of digits from the position of the pointer is calculated. Then the voiceless sound data of a long time are inserted for every 4 digits from the head and voiceless sound data of a short time are inserted between the 2nd digit and 3rd digit of a number of every 4 digits. Consequently, when the successive numbers are voiced by a voice output device 5, the accent is raised and fallen alternately for every number and the accent is fallen for the final number without fail. Further, the successive numbers are sectioned by every 2 digits and the short time and long time are assigned alternately to the sections. Therefore, the natural pronunciation is obtained with the voiced numbers.</p> |
