<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a radiation measuring apparatus by which the radiation dase per unit mass of a sample can be computed automatically. CONSTITUTION: A test tube 100 is conveyed to the upper part of a through hole-type scintillator 10 by a manipulator 24, and it is then transferred to the lower part in a state that it is gripped by the manipulator 24. Then, when the bottom part of the test tube 100 comes into contact with the bottom face of a guide tube part at a test-tube guide base 30, the test tube 100 is released from the manipulator 24 so as to be set to a state that it is supported by the test-tube guide base 30 only. In this state, a radiation is measured by the through hole-type scintillator 10 and a photomultiplier tube 12, and the mass of the test tube 100 is measured by a mass measuring device 22. A microcomputer 20 finds the mass of a sample 110 on the basis of mass data from the mass measuring device 22, and it computes a radiation dose per unit mass of the sample 110 on the basis of the mass and on the basis of the radiation dose, of the sample, found from counted data by a counting circuit 18.</p> |
