<p>PURPOSE: To enable the user of a magnetic ticket to insert the magnetic ticket without exiting from a ticket examination passage by controlling a shutter so that an insertion slot is closed when the hand of the user reached-out is detected. CONSTITUTION: When a human detector S detects a user entering the entrance side P' of the ticket examination passage P and a detector 1b detects the hand of the user reaching out for the insertion slot 1 while a main body (a) can process a next train ticket, the user is authorized as a user who bears a magnetic ticket C1 and the shutter 1a of the insertion slot 1 is opened. Therefore, the user can insert the magnetic ticket C1 into the insertion slot 1 and have the magnetic ticket examined without exiting from the ticket examination passage P. When the bearer of the magnetic ticket C1 enters the entrance side P' of the ticket examination passage P, a following user neither inserts a magnetic ticket C1 into the insertion slot 1 nor exposes a noncontact ticket C2 to a communication area, so the correspondence between the user and train ticket is not disordered.</p> |
