PURPOSE: To stabilize output without making output power unstable due to noise and the like by reducing output power without reducing the conductive angle of a thyristor at the time of slight output when small output power is requested. CONSTITUTION: At the time of slight output in the case of a conventional power controller, the conductive angleθ2 of a triac 25 is required to be small. In the case of this power controller 23a, output power is controlled and micro output can be obtained by reducing (or enlarging a non-conductive angle) the number of the turning-on times of the triac 25 without reducing the conductive angle so much, and therefore output can be stabilized even in the case of micro output. furthermore, a DC component is prevented from being contained, the controller can deal with the case of a load 24 which requires AC power can be realized and the verification of output is facilitated.
