PURPOSE: To reduce the number of parts and assembly man-hours and to contrive the reduction of the cost by pressing and fixing an fθlens and a return mirror on each mounting position reference surface of an optical frame. CONSTITUTION: An elastic fixing member 31 is provided with pressure parts 36 and 37 for pressing the fθlens 16 and the return mirror 17 against each mounting position reference surface 18 and 19 of the optical frame 21, and the member is formed of elastic material. The pressure part 36 of the elastic fixing member 31 is constituted so as to press not only the fθlens but also a transparent plate 25 against the mounting position reference surface 18 and fix them on the optical frame 21. Besides the elastic fixing member 31 is fixed on the prescribed position of the optical frame 21 by using a bolt etc. And also, a straightening means 41 is provided with plural positioning ribs 42 and 43, and the fθlens 16 is held and pressed by the means 41 in a direction orthogonal to an optical scanning direction so that the warp of the lens 16 may be straightened.
