LIQUID LEVEL DETECTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a method for removing static electricity for a capacitance type liquid level detecting device which is easy to cause false detection due to static electricity when the liquid level of a sample liquid or a reagent is detected in an automatic analyzer. CONSTITUTION: An automatic analyzer conducts the operation for forcing a suction nozzle 101 which is one of paired electrodes of a capacitance type liquid level detecting device and gathers a sample liquid or a reagent to approach or come into contact with the inlet part of an inner wall of a receptacle 106 for the sample liquid or the reagent once or plural times in order to remove static electricity charged to the inner wall of the receptacle.
