PURPOSE: To send/receive documents in mixture as they are by providing a means able to read and print out double side images of paper and informing it to a transmission destination that image data of transmission documents include one side and double side images in mixture. CONSTITUTION: Transmission information or the like denoting facsimile transmission is obtained by a CPU 3 according to an instruction of the user using a key board 29 and a mouse 31 and the CPU 3 informs it to a communication control section 45. A double side scanner 27 being an image read means reads double side images of a front side and a rear side of paper or either one side image of the front side or the rear side. Furthermore, a double side printer 25 being an image print means prints out the double side image or the one side image. In the case of sending image data where double side and one side images are in existence' in mixture, a mark # denoting the mixture mode is added to a sender identifier. Then an image control section 49 generates a one side/double side bit map and reading or printing is executed according to the map. |
