PURPOSE: To provide a DTP composition data preparing device capable of displaying a composition image for a DTP on a screen based upon input data without using an expensive DTP and easily preparing DTP composition data. CONSTITUTION: The number of lines corresponding to printing paper, the number of characters in a line, etc., are previously stored as style setting data in a reference data storage part 4A built in a storage means 4, triggers corresponding to large heading, small heading, left-justify, right-justify, paragraph feed, etc., are added to character data by an editing means 5 built in a data processing means 15 and character data corresponding to a DTP editing condition are displayed on an image screen in an edition menu displayed on a display means 3 based on the triggers and the style setting data. |
