PURPOSE: To provide an on-vehicle navigation system in which the running data of other vehicle is received and the data can be made to be offered for the route guide of a vehicle by performing mutual communication by the vehicles running on a road with each other. CONSTITUTION: Based on the map data read by a map data reading part 13 and the present location measured by a present location measuring part 30, the route to a set destination is set. The location of a present vehicle is notified to other vehicle and the location of the other vehicle is received. Based on the received location of the other vehicle, the other vehicle existing on the set route is extracted and whether many other extracted vehicles to such a degree that the smooth passing of the present vehicle is hindered exist or not is judged. When it is judged that many other vehicles exist, the set route is changed. As a result, the route where many running vehicles are congested can be evaded and the route change can be performed. |
