<p>PURPOSE: To provide a liquid crystal display device and its driving method displaying an interlace signal with natural picture quality by improving a drive system of a high pixel liquid crystal display device. CONSTITUTION: Counter electrodes are formed opposing to pixels 33 arranged in e.g. a delta shape, and the counter electrodes are formed divided into a first common electrode 31 for a first field and a second common electrode 32 for a second field. Then, in the first field, a lowered much of a video signal 5 due to a charge hold characteristic of a liquid crystal and a leak of a TFT is impressed to a first input terminal 34 as a correction signal 37. The video signal impressed in a write field becomes a sufficient voltage level, and a flicker occurring when a high resolution liquid crystal display device is driven by an interlace system is eliminated, and a display with natural picture quality is obtained.</p> |
